Re: Sale of Our Home
Now that we are settled into our new home Valerie and I wanted to once again thank both of you for all that you did to ensure that the selling of our home went so smoothly, which is so important when there are so many other pressures that come with moving and relocating to another city.
What impressed Valerie and I the most was that while we had met on a few occasions previously over the years at some of our children's events, you did not assume for a minute that you would be given the business. You explained the process and marketing guidelines that you follow to maximize exposure of the house to reduce the time that it takes for the sale to be completed
Your years of selling on Mary Hill also gave you a huge advantage over the other realtors that wanted our business in that you had intimate knowledge of almost every home that was currently on the market along with the advantages and disadvantages that they had compared to ours. This allowed you to accurately reflect a selling price that was very close to what our house actually sold for. In fact another relater that wanted our business spent more time talking about the disadvantages of our house and placed little value on all of the work that had been done to it. He suggested listing the house $60,000 below what you had suggested.
Valerie and I also appreciated the up to date communication and guidance that we received throughout the entire sales process.
